Natural Way of Explaining the Trinity?
Search This Site
It is being claimed that one of the “best natural ways” of explaining the trinity is to use the Ocean to represent God, a wave in ocean to represent Jesus (“Y’shua), and the breeze to represent the holy spirit. It is claimed that “They are all part of one thing the ocean, same is true of the Trinity, they are all of one Spirit, YHWH (God).”
The problem is that the trinity dogma does not claim the Jesus is a “part” of God, but the claim is that Jesus is “fully God”. Likewise with the holy spirit. The above illustration, in effect, would claim that Jesus is not “God”, but he is a part of God, and the God’s holy spirit is not God, but a part of God.
Scriptures are presented, but none of them say what is being claimed for them.

Yes, Jesus was sent by the only true God, Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; Jesus is not his Supreme Being whom he worships, prays to, and who sent him, and whose will he carried out in willful obedience. — Deuteronomy 18:15-19; Matthew 4:4 (Deuteronomy 8:3; Luke 4:4); Matthew 4:7 (Deuteronomy 6:16); Matthew 4:10 (Exodus 20:3-5; 34:14; Deuteronomy 6:13,14; 10:20; Luke 4:8); Matthew 22:29-40; Matthew 26:42; Matthew 27:46; Mark 10:6 (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:7,20-23); Mark 14:36; 15:34; Luke 22:42; John 4:3; 5:30; 6:38; 17:1,3; 20:17; Romans 15:6; 2 Corinthians 1:3; 11:31; Ephesians 1:3,17; Hebrews 1:9; 10:7; 1 Peter 1:3; Revelation 2:7; 3:2,12.
Light of the World
Jesus, having fulfilled the light of the law through perfect obedience, was, while he was in the days of his flesh, the light of the world.

Isaiah 9:6
Isaiah 9:6 speaks of a singular name by which Jesus was to be “called” that describes the God and Father of Jesus.

Matthew 1:23
Jesus’ being given a titular name that attributes his God as being with his people does not mean that Jesus is his God.
Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive in her womb, and will bear a son. And they will call His name Emmanuel,” which being interpreted is, God with us.
Mark 12:28-30
Here Jesus declares Yahweh, the only true God who had sent him, as one Yahweh, in accordance Deuteronomy 6:4:
Colossians 1:13,14
This speaks of God, the Father of Jesus (Colossians 1:3), as having delivered the saints from the power of darkness into the kingdom of His Son; and that in (by means of) the Son the saints have redemption through the blood of the Son.
Colossians 1:15,16
The son of the only true God is identified here as the image of his God, the invisible God, n0t as God of whom he is the image. The Son of the only true God is described as the firstborn, the first to be brought forth in living existence, of all of God creation [creation referring to living creation that is born, brought forth into living existence, not the material universe itself, both the heavenly, invisible, creation and the earthly, visible living creation].

John 14:7-10
There is definitely nothing here about a three persons in the God that Jesus said one could see in him. Since Jesus reflected his God and Father perfectly, to see, to rec0gnize, Jesus as sent by the only true God, was to see, to recognize the only true God by means of Jesus, since Jesus did the works of his God and Father perfectly. This certainly does not mean that Jesus was his God, or that Jesus was his Father.

Yes, just as Jesus is in his followers, and his followers are in him, Jesus’ God is in him, and in Jesus’ followers, and Jesus is in his God, and his followers are in His God. This does not mean that Jesus is his God.
John 8:18
Jesus bears witness of himself, and the only true God who sent sent Jesus (John 17:3) also bears witness concerning Jesus. Jesus is thus not the only true God who had sent him.
Philippians 2:5
Jesus’ being in the external appearance of his God does not mean that he was his God. If Paul was saying that Jesus was the Almighty Yahweh Himself, why would Paul even mention equality with Himself?

The fact is, however, that there is not any proof at all in the scriptures of a God existing as three co-equal, co-eternal, co-substantial persons. You will not find one scripture about such a God. The idea has to added to and read into all the scriptures that are given to support such an idea. The conclusion is that the holy spirit reveals that Jesus is not Yahweh who has made Jesus to sit at the right hand of Yahweh. — Psalm 110:1; Matthew 22:41-46; Mark 12:35-40; Luke 20:39-47; Acts 2:34; Ephesians 1:20-22; Hebrews 1:3,13; 10:12,13; 12:2; 1 Peter 3:22.
